Power Generation
EnviroForensics® /Arcient® engineers have provided many power utilities with engineering and consulting services for expansion, modernization, or consolidation of existing systems or have designed and constructed new power generation facilities. The EnviroForensics® /Arcient® staff is experienced in utilizing innovative and environmentally friendly waste techniques such as plasma and gasification to convert alternative low grade, sulfur-rich or Refuse Derived fuels into clean energy.
EnviroForensics® /Arcient® can undertake turnkey projects by teaming with financial experts to secure project financing. EnviroForensics® /Arcient® engineers have the experience and expertise to implement the projects from comprehensive siting studies required for selection, to preparing environmental impacts statements required for permitting and regulatory approval, to offering complete engineering and construction management. EnviroForensics® /Arcient® can manage all aspects of: Facility siting, system design, construction oversight, and operation and maintenance of power generating facilities.
Planning studies identify the appropriate type of power generation system including single cycle, combined cycle and Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle turbine system with greater efficiency or boiler for the project. Following the planning decision, engineers continue to assist clients in preparation of detailed construction drawings, design of auxiliary facilities, and engineering services during construction, and the training of operating and maintenance personnel (as required by the client).
