Chad Pigg assists communities and property owners overcome brownfield challenges that stand in the way of redevelopment. His assistance includes reuse strategy development, brownfield site inventories, identifying and securing redevelopment funding (including U.S. EPA MARC Grants), technical reviews, and coordination with stakeholders including property owners, prospective developers, local officials, state and federal agencies, attorneys, and consultants.
Chad is a redevelopment professional with 18 years of brownfield revitalization experience. Chad has worked as a redevelopment consultant to assist municipalities, counties, various redevelopment entities, school systems, and private property owners prepare brownfield properties for redevelopment. Whether working as a sole proprietor or for a multinational corporation, Chad has strived to develop environmentally sound, financially equitable solutions to communities’ redevelopment challenges.
Prior to his work in brownfield redevelopment, Chad worked as a water quality professional and developed the City of Anderson, Indiana’s first Municipal Separated Storm Sewer System (MS4) Ordinance, led public relations efforts and contributed to the development of Anderson’s Combined Sewer System Overflow Control Plan. He also held the highest level of Indiana industrial and municipal wastewater treatment operator certifications.
